Arrival in Kathmandu (D)
Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our representatives will be present at the arrival gate of the Airport with your name written on a placard. A warm welcome to our guests and transfer to hotel. Briefing of the trip.
Kathmandu – Chitwan (5 hrs) (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan. Chitwan offers one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia. In the evening proceed for the cultural show which is known as Tharu stick dance.
Chitwan – Jungle activities (B/L/D)
Today guests will be escorted by an expert naturalist on various exciting activities including elephant back safari, Canoe ride, Jungle walk, Bird watching, Slide show.
Chitwan – Lumbini (5 hrs) (B)
After breakfast, leave for Bhairawa (Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha). On arrival, check-in to the hotel. After lunch, visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The main feature is erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC.
Lumbini – Pokhara (7 hrs) (B)
A city tour of Pokhara is in store for you which includes 1-hour boating on scenic Fewa Lake, Barahi Temple, Bindabasini Temple, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti Gorge, Tibetan Refugee Camp.
After the half day city tour, free time to explore the wonderful lake side area. Guest can find various shopping items and also can chill out in lake side cool and cozy cafe or pubs.
Pokhara – Kathmandu (6 hrs) (B/D)
After breakfast, return to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check-in to the hotel and the evening is free and easy.
In the evening proceed for dinner. Today we will try authentic Nepalese cuisine with cultural show.
Kathmandu – Nagarkot (1.5 hrs) (B)
After breakfast proceeds to the 2000 years old Swoyambhunath Stupa, (UNESCO World Heritage site) sometimes also known as the monkey temple.The temple charms with its great dazzling Stupa, while at the same time offers a marvelous view of Kathmandu Valley.
Next destination is Patan Durbar square. (UNESCO World heritage site). Patan Durbar Square complex is perhaps the most photographed of the three durbar squares. Located in the heart of Patan city, this was once the palace of the kings of Patan. The square is a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.
After the sightseeing tour, drive to Nagarkot which is at a height of 2300m above the sea level. From here you can catch an excellent view of sunset and sunrise with beautiful mountain ranges. The place commands a classic panorama of the Himalayan ranges. You can see many major peaks of the Himalayas, like Langtang, Langtang – Lirung, Chobra Bhamre, Amadablam, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar and many other peaks of the Himalaya including Mount Everest on a clear day.
Nagarkot – Kathmandu (1.5 hrs) (B/D)
Wake up early morning to see the sunrise and the beautiful Mountain View from your hotel. Enjoy the mesmerizing scenery and the morning air with your breakfast. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu for sightseeing.
After reaching Kathmandu drive to Kathmandu durbar square, (UNESCO World heritage site). Kathmandu Durbar Square is the historic place that was also a politically important site until recently. The Kings of Nepal were crowned and their coronation ceremony was solemnized in this durbar square. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. The temples, monuments, and palaces are believed to have been built by the Malla kings of the Medieval Nepal. Enjoy an hour of rickshaw ride in the durbar square area. There are still many rickshaws present in Kathmandu which is popular among tourists and even locals ride them for short distance travel within the city.
Then proceed for the sightseeing tour to Great Stupa of Boudhanath (UNESCO World heritage site). Boudhanath Stupa holds a great importance to the entire Buddhist around the world. The Stupa is a vast dome-shaped monument representing the Mind of the Buddha, is the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists of the Himalayas and a major draw for Tibetan Buddhists from all over the world. The history of the Stupa from its origin in the fifth century to the present day is also presented here for the first time.
For today’s accommodation, we will try to provide rooms in a Monastery. If rooms are not available we will just visit the monastery in the day time and transfer you to the hotel in the evening.
